In May 2008, Panettiere was engaged in an eBay market to advantage Save The Sharks Again, an offer of The Whaleman Groundwork. The market engaged passes to a fundraising events evening meal organised at the Artist eating place Beso, held by Eva Longoria, and a whale looking at trip, with Panettiere, off the shore of Santa Barbara. The same 30 days, during an appointment with Youngster Fashion, Hayden described how her popularity gives her a basis for her activism: "The show [Heroes] put me in a place to talk for things that I'm enthusiastic about."
In Sept 2008, Panettiere released her own line of calfskin set luggage for the company Dooney & Bourke.
In August 2008, Panettiere delved into the presidential political election, launching a public service statement through the website Crazy or Die. In this movie Panettiere mocked Republican selection Bob McCain for his age and mood. She therefore described her objective to political election for Barack obama, and advised other adolescents to political election.
